If you want a good and rich fritada in Quito, you can go to Las Papas de Rosita de la Mañosca (Rosita’s potatoes of Mañosca–I love the name in english). The food is cheap and tasty. It’s always crowded at rush hour and you can sit at the typical wooden chairs and tables.
The food is prepared at the entrance; you just walk in and order—service is immediate. The dishes come with fritada, potatoes and roasted corn. You can obviously accompany the, with their delicious and very spicy ají!!
If you want something extra, you can order fritada with corn or a plate of really steamy fava beans, both come with cheese.
