Walking just a few minutes from the south end of the Carolina Park you find the street Francisco Andrade—a small and quiet area. Here is where you will find a small house with a sign above its door that says: La Roots.
Once inside, you will be pleasantly surprised by this really cool beer garden. It has a very chill area where you can hang out, small cozy interiors and outside on the side, an area with long wooden tables and mega artsy murals all around. It’s a place filled with attitude and a sense of surprise.
If this wasn’t enough, they carry a wide range of delicious craft beer and one tap, as well as Budweiser and Micheladas (beer with a mix of lemon and pepper). Their food menu includes wraps, quesadillas and some snacks (they do have vegetarian options). As this place opens sooner than all others, it’s also a great option for lunch, and if you are lucky, you can meet their super sweet dog Frida 😉
